Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?
I had a lot of work experience that led me operate Passover programs in resorts. After years in the catering business, I worked for several years as a Mashgiach & Chef in Passover Programs. I also teamed up with a friend to operate a day camp for 4 summers. For several years, I organized & ran Federal Food lunch programs in 4 yeshiva day schools. I also studied & taught Nutrition Science. On our programs, I don't sit during meals. I walk around to each table to make sure that everyone has what they need. Our meals & tea rooms are lavish. People on special diets get personal service & no senior citizen walks alone to their room on my watch.
What types of business contacts are you looking to make?
We're always looking for competent staff to man our Passover Programs. But another reason is that I also administer a website called KosherWoman.com. It just went on line in March & already it's bringing in an unbelievable amount of traffic- over 8,000 visitors a month. I want women to know about this website. It's for busy women from the least observant to the most observant & from young adults to seniors who have questions but don't have time for lengthy articles or books. KosherWoman is an easy & quick 'read.' The content includes: Prayer, Kosher Travel, Kosher Lifestyle, Kosher Kitchen (not a recipe site) & Health, Nutrition, Diet & Exercise. Other features include Guest Friendly Shuls & Inspiration.
