Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?
A long-time trial lawyer and former chair of a NJ Attorney Ethics Committee (Dist. VB), I advise and represent attorneys and other professionals who have ethical and disciplinary issues. I'm also Adjunct Professor of Persuasion and Advocacy at Seton Hall Law School, and Public Defender in Livingston, NJ.
I've written books for new lawyers, one for police, and one about public speaking. My favorite "side work" is training lawyers, sales teams and other professionals to be more persuasive oral speakers. This is best done as a weekend retreat. I have presented ethics and/or advocacy courses to lawyers for the state bar associations of Missouri, Oregon, Ohio and Alaska, and for the Trial Attorneys of the ICE division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
What types of business contacts are you looking to make?
I'd like to meet NJ lawyers and people who work with NJ lawyers. I would also like to meet sale professionals and others interested in improving the performance of their sales teams.
