Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?
I have two businesses
1. I am an artist and am having my 83rd art opening this March at the ACL Gallery, in the Livingston Town Center. My art was shown in the Morris Museum. I graduated from SUNY New Paltz majoring in Fine Arts with a focus in Sculpture and Metalsmithing. Besides that I do…photography, stained glass, fused glass, resin & glass, painting, drawing, work with items found in nature for sculptures. I have shown my work in the East Village, Soho, Hoboken, Jersey City, New Paltz, and many other places.
2. Professional Organizer & Moving Specialist.
I have two taglines that represent me and what I do. I say that "Packing is My Zen, Let me help you find yours!" and "I do from the basement to the books". I can look in a breakfront or kitchen cabinets and know how many boxes and what is going where in the box. Previously, I was a Certified Moving Consultant and set up moves, I could tell you how many men the move would take, what size truck, how long, how much and any special needs. I left that in 2013.
Whether preparing seniors to downsize after 50 years, helping someone declutter and create a more productive and calm environment for them to thrive, re-organizing a part of a home or business, or organizing 3 years of unopened mail, creating spreadsheets, and paying a clients bills, setting up the Bluetooth and wifi on all their devices, ( and then some), seeing the relief on my client’s face, seeing their shoulders drop and them take a deep breath, that is why I do this. Some of my reviews made me tear up. I was told that I was better than Zoloft after only two hours. Zoloft is an anti-anxiety medication. Another client wrote about how she felt rescued. I have empathy, and can relate to many people in many different situations. I am here to solve a problem, judgement free. I am a member of NAPO, The National Organization of Productivity and Organization Professionals. This business is not just about beautifully organized, fabulous closets (which I dream of!), it is about improving my clients lives and businesses, helping them function better on a daily basis. I am all about the details and streamlining wherever possible. With moving, I help pack, inventory, set up the movers, junk removal, educate, unpack and so much more.
What types of business contacts are you looking to make?
I work with individuals, families, retail, and professional businesses. (For my art, I would love to connected to all people who love art and creative functional things for around the house and gifts.
