My name is Miriam Goldstein and I am a designer of unique, original Jewish toys that are educational, safe, different and fun for children between 0-age 6. You can read my profile on JBN website. These are all Jewish-themed traditional toys that were never found on any Judaic shelf. I am looking for a second round of seed funding to manufacture our prototypes and market them retail online and wholesale worldwide. I am for-profit but a non-profit status would be a good idea to consider for a trust sponsorship. Whatever it would take to have these toys made and distributed to as many children, schools and day care centers as possible. Our original agent was Jonathan Segal in Tel Aviv who was a toy marketer and designer for over 14 years and represented a line called Tiny Love, one of the better manufacturers of toys and baby accessories sold to Toys R Us and Babies R Us, Target, etc. He was able to bring us to the "working prototype" stage and connect us to great manufacturers in China. I have a prepared Business Plan for retail/wholesale for-profit distribution only but a different Business model could be prepared if the non-profit status can be a possibility. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Traditional funding sources are hesitant because there is no track record on the sales of Jewish toys since it is a void market but is a great marketing niche to pursue. I'm also open to any creative funding opportunities. Would appreciate hearing from you on this. Take care. Miriam
