Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?
I'm an award-winning humor writer and speaker who is passionate about the written word and about Jewish values. My latest book is the funny diet memoir "Till We Eat Again: A Second Helping" (May 2012). I also co-authored the business book "MBA Admissions for Smarties: The No-Nonsense Guide to Acceptance at Top Business Schools" with Linda Abraham (November 2011), a succinct yet comprehensive guide for MBA applicants. I'm also an editor with Accepted.com, a premier grad school consultancy.

I write the Mirth and Meaning blog on my web site, www.judygruen.com, and am a regular columnist for Aish.com, writing both humorous and serious material. Check them out! My work has also appeared in Jewish Action, the Jewish Journal of Los Angeles, Chicago Jewish News, as well as Family Circle, Ladies' Home Journal, Woman's Day, Chicago Tribune, Christian Science Monitor, Boston Globe, New York Daily News, and dozens of other media outlets and 10 anthologies.
I also love to speak to Jewish groups, and you can also hire me to jazz up your own speeches (if you need to give them) with humor. (Check out my free tip sheet about how to infuse humor in your own public presentations on my web site.)

I am also an experienced editor, who loves to help other people tell their stories in their own voice and for maximum impact and clarity.
What types of business contacts are you looking to make?
Jewish media outlets that would like to publish my work, including my new blog, Mirth and Meaning, which appears on my web site. I also welcome speaking invitations and editing projects on Jewish topics.

Take Your Dog to Work Day? No Thanks.

Back in the days when gas was cheap and tattoos were for tough biker types, dogs slept in dog beds on the floor, waited for someone to remember to toss them a bone now and then, and had names such as Fido or Pizza.Since then, things have swung wildly in the dogs’ direction. Today’s tail-waggers are named Zelda,…
