Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?
I have been practicing in the field of mental health for 30 years. Originally trained as a school psychologist, I then obtained another degree in marriage and family therapy (mft) and continue to get extensive training as an mft. In addition to my extensive training, my ability to be extremely respectful, empathic and attuned to my clients, enables me to truly hear and understand what they need.
What types of business contacts are you looking to make?
Since so many of us are in relationships, couples counseling is something that is potentially relevant to people regardless of their professional affiliation. Therefore, I am open to meeting individuals from any and all professions. That being said, physicians and attorneys may be particularly good referral sources, as we know that people whose relationships are distressed often have stress which leads to physical problems and they also sometimes make their way to lawyers' offices.
