Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?

After many years as a creative development and design executive in Hollywood’s TV animation industry, followed by client-facing roles at PR/marketing and digital agencies, I’ve built up a nice career as Design and Content Marketing freelancer. Graphic design has fast become the core of my business (supplemented by illustration, copy writing and general content consulting work). I design everything from small business marketing collateral, social media graphics and print for various non-profits/activist groups, to fun logos and signage for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and a variety of children/family-targeted print and digital pieces. I work primarily in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, yet I also use InDesign, Acrobat, Lightroom and other Creative Cloud programs, as needed. I build websites in SquareSpace, yet I’m also familiar with Wordpress and basic HTML, CSS. I frequently shoot and edit video for my social media marketing projects. I’m a MailChimp fan. Aside from design, I am a talented writer (but writing is hard to show in an online portfolio!). The bulk of my writing has been targeted at children and families, having spent most of my career in children’s programming.
