Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?
Although my clientele may be diverse - ranging from hedge fund adminstrators to people starting businesses or nonprofits to individuals with IRS problems - I try to never forget how important the issues they face are to them and strive to deal with my clients' issues the way I would want them dealt with were they my own.
- My structuring and advisory work includes: assisting hedge funds with their cross-border transactional planning, repatriation of funds from abroad, involvement in the structuring of real estate transactions, 1031 exchanges, assistance with debt workouts and ensuring appropriate tax allocations.
- I create non-profit entities and work to obtain IRS recognition of their 501(c)(3) status.
- Remedially, I help individuals, businesses and non-profits with all types of controversies before the IRS or state tax authorities. Whether it is representing clients in their IRS audits, working to remove levies, liens or wage garnishments, or trying to obtain an offer in compromise so my client’s tax burden is severely lightened, my approach is custom tailored to my client’s unique needs. I will also help individuals with undisclosed foreign bank accounts make voluntary disclosures with the IRS before the IRS comes after them.
What types of business contacts are you looking to make?
First and foremost, I hope to be your resource for any tax question you may have, so please feel free to give me a call or email me. I am looking to meet other attorneys, accounts/CPAs who can serve as sources of referral, as well as business people, managers of small hedge funds, those interested in setting up nonprofits or those with tax problems that can use my services.
